Mark Charles is the Associate General Counsel at Procter & Gamble. Mark previously worked as an associate at Pennie & Edmonds from January 2001 to December 2003. There, they prepared and negotiated agreements relating to technology and IP, including licensing of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets; technology transfer and joint development; software development; university research; consulting services; employment; and disclosure of confidential information.

Mark Charles attended the Duke University School of Law, where they earned their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. Mark then went on to earn their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Duke University Graduate School. Finally, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering.
