Shashi Kumar

Shashi Kumar is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the manufacturing sector, particularly in feminine care and consumer products. Currently a Consulting Engineer at Procter & Gamble since October 2008, Shashi leads design and development initiatives for proprietary Feminine Care Converting Lines and implements antimicrobial strategies across manufacturing plants. Prior experience includes serving as Director at Perfect Home Products Pvt Ltd from August 1997 to September 2007, where Shashi successfully launched Masonite Steel Entry and Molded Wood doors in the Indian market by analyzing market potential and coordinating with international partners. Shashi's career at Procter & Gamble began in September 1994 as Section Head, overseeing the design and startup of various disposable paper product manufacturing lines. Academically, Shashi holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University.
