Rex McArthur

Rex McArthur is an accomplished professional in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as the Director of AI and ML at Procurement Sciences since August 2025. In addition, Rex advises on AI innovation strategies at Hark and has been involved with Abstract as an advisor since January 2022. Previously, Rex held positions as Staff AI Research Scientist and Senior AI Research Scientist at You.com, where the focus was on developing RAG-based product verticals for enterprise revenue. Additional experience includes roles such as Engineering Manager and Staff Data Scientist at Jasper, and Senior Data Scientist at Lyft, providing expertise in statistics and machine learning. Rex began a career in data science at Apple, enhancing the efficiency of Apple Maps, and gained early experience through a Senior Engineering Internship at Raytheon. Rex holds a Bachelor's degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Brigham Young University.
