Nick Huber

Nick Huber is a Senior Software Engineer at Procurify since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Tucows as a Principal Software Engineer from 2020 to 2022, where they designed and implemented a distributed event-driven application using Kafka for ISPs. Nick also created a system to track service interactions with Kafka topics. Before Tucows, Nick was a Lead Software Engineer at Multapplied Networks, Inc. (later renamed Turnium Technologies) from 2012 to 2020. Nick developed an SD-WAN application and worked on various aspects of full-stack development, including frontend, backend, and network appliances. Nick also integrated Linux networking and performed QA automation testing. From 2011 to 2012, Nick worked as a Software Developer at Kerkhoff Technologies Inc, where they developed a custom Django website. Their earliest work experience was as a Computer Repair Technician at Best Buy from 2007 to 2009, where they specialized in hardware repair.

Nick Huber attended Walnut Grove Secondary School from 2000 to 2005 and obtained their High School Diploma during that time. Nick then pursued further education at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where they completed a Certificate in Cisco Certified Network Associate from 2007 to 2009. Later, they went on to earn a Diploma in Computer Systems Technology from the same institution between 2009 and 2011.
