Joachim Drees

Joachim Drees serves as the CEO of Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH, a family-owned company established in 1756, since October 2024. Drees has extensive experience as an investor, holding positions in multiple companies including Deftpower, Chargetrip, Procuros, AWAKE Mobility, and JD Invest & Advisory GmbH, of which Drees is also the CEO. Previously, Drees was Chief Executive Officer at MAN SE and MAN Truck & Bus SE from April 2015 to July 2020. Educational qualifications include a Diplom Kaufmann in Controlling/Planning from the University of Stuttgart and a Master of Business Administration from Portland State University.
