Patrick Thelen

Patrick Thelen is the CEO and co-founder of Procuros. Prior to founding Procuros, they worked as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group from October 2017 to January 2021. Patrick also worked on a Capstone Project at Berkeley Lab from September 2016 to May 2017, where they combined different data analysis tools in order to increase the efficiency of commercial and residential buildings. Prior to that, they worked as a Sales Engineer at Alfa Laval from September 2011 to July 2016, where they helped customers improve the efficiency of their plant energy system by using waste heat recovery or optimizing the performance of heat exchangers. Patrick also worked as an Assistant in R&D at Hako Machines Ltd from August 2010 to June 2011.

Patrick Thelen received their Master of Engineering from UC Berkeley College of Engineering in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research. Patrick also holds a Bachelor of Science from Fachhochschule Nordakademie Elmshorn in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen and a certification from Scrum.org in Professional Scrum Master Certification. Additionally, they completed a foreign semester in Industrial Engineering at Universidad del Desarrollo.
