Michael Light

Michael Light is an experienced credit risk professional currently serving as a Senior Credit Risk Manager at Prodigy Finance since June 2018, having progressed through various roles including Credit Risk Manager, Credit Risk Junior Manager, and Credit Risk Analyst. Prior to this, Michael worked as an Associate at EY from January 2016 to June 2018 and served as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Pretoria from February 2015 to December 2015. Michael holds a Master of Science in Mathematics of Finance and a BSc (Hons) in the same field from the University of Pretoria, along with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cape Town. Furthermore, Michael is certified as a Financial Risk Manager by the Global Association of Risk Professionals and has completed all levels of the CFA exams through the CFA Institute.
