David Asher is the VP of Permian and MidCon Operations at ProDirectional, where they hold the role since 2024 after serving as the Director of Permian Operations in 2023. With a background as a Directional Coordinator and a Directional Drilling Supervisor at Professional Directional from 2017 to 2023, David has expertise in multi-well pad work and complex wellbores in the Permian Basin. Prior to that, they worked as an LWD Engineer and Geo-Steering Specialist at Pathfinder Energy Services from 2008 to 2011, and held similar supervisory roles at Leam Drilling Systems LLC from 2011 to 2015. David graduated with Honors in Petroleum Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in 2008.
