Ya Zhang

Ya Zhang is currently a Research Assistant at Eindhoven University of Technology, with a dual role as an Electrical Designer at Prodrive Technologies since March 2020. Prior experience includes positions as a Guest Researcher and PhD Candidate at Eindhoven University, focusing on local control strategies for grid-connected power electronics, and as a PDEng Trainee specializing in electromechanics and power electronics. Ya Zhang's earlier roles feature internships at Philips Lighting, where work involved LED converter miniaturization, and research at Zhejiang University, addressing PWM dimming technology and PFC output ripple effects on LED characteristics. Ya Zhang holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, along with a PDEng in Information and Computer Technology and a Master's in Electronics.
