Dan Ward is currently an advisor at Productable. Prior to that, they were a consultant at their own firm, Dan Ward Consulting LLC. Before that, they were the Chief of the Joint Visitor's Bureau at ISAF from November 2011 to May 2012. Dan was responsible for leading a team of international officers charged with arranging transportation, security, billeting and itineraries for VIP's and VVIPs visiting Afghanistan. Dan also worked closely with a broad range of units across Afghanistan as well as coordinating with incoming visitor's home countries, daily briefings to 4-Star ISAF commander and senior staff.
Before their work at ISAF, Ward was a Systems Engineering Student at the Air Force Institute of Technology from August 2007 to March 2009.
Ward served in the US Air Force as an engineering officer for 20+ years prior to their current position. Dan's specialty was leading low-cost, rapid innovation projects, and their assignments ranged from the AF Research Lab to the Intelligence Community to the Pentagon. Dan did research, development, design, testing, installation, and user training on projects on a range of technologies, including lasers, satellites, global communications networks, and airborne radar systems.
Dan Ward has a Masters in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, an MS in Engineering Management from Western New England University, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University. Dan also has a certification from Coursera in Futures Thinking Specialization and certifications from the Defense Acquisition University in Program Management (Level III) and System Planning, Research, Development, and Engineering (Level III).
