Alan Simon

Alan Simon is a highly skilled Senior Android Engineer with extensive experience in mobile application development, particularly within the banking sector. Currently at Product Hunt since February 2022, Alan previously contributed to RBC from 2015 to 2022 in various roles, advancing from a Junior QA Analyst to a Senior Native Android Developer. Alan led projects that included the launch of a flagship native app for City National Bank and enhancements of the RBC Mobile Banking app, which serves over 1.5 million active users. With expertise in Kotlin, RxJava, CI/CD processes using Azure Pipelines, and a strong focus on agile methodologies, Alan has successfully collaborated with cross-functional teams and has presented innovative solutions to senior executives.
