Evan O'Brien

Evan O'Brien has worked as a Data Engineer at Productive Edge since December 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Tetra Tech as a Data Manager and Data Analyst from February 2019 to December 2020. In this role, they were responsible for designing and maintaining SQL databases for large environmental projects, writing automation scripts and queries to ensure data integrity, and developing reporting tools using SSRS and PowerBI. Evan also has experience as a Research Assistant and Student Worker at the Integrated Ocean Drilling Program (IODP) from February 2016 to March 2018. In this position, they collected samples from IODP drill cores, prepared samples for analysis using chemical decomposition, and conducted element composition analyses using X-ray fluorescence scanning.

Evan O'Brien attended Texas A&M University from 2014 to 2018, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Geophysics. Their field of study focused on Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences.
