Carlos Afonso has extensive experience in the engineering and power sectors, currently serving as Country Manager and Engineering Director at Proef Power Angola since March 2019. Prior to this role, Carlos held various leadership positions, including Deputy General Manager and Business Unit Director at Telectrinf from February 2013 to February 2019, and Project Manager at Proef - Energias de Angola, SA from March 2011 to January 2013, among other roles. With a career spanning over two decades, Carlos has also served as General Manager at AÿT and Project Manager at Eurico Ferreira, demonstrating a strong background in project management and engineering. Carlos holds a Licenciatura in Sistemas Electricos de Energia from Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra, earned between 1991 and 1996.
