Fernando Ferreira

Fernando Ferreira has a variety of work experience in the renewable energy industry. Fernando started working at Proef Energias Renováveis SA as the COO in March 2006 and later became the Engineering Director for Portugal in January 2019. Fernando also served as a member of the board for Proef Renewables and as the Country Manager for Proef Colombia. From 2009 to 2011, they were the Director of Renewables and Substations. In 2011, they became an Administrator for Paeflux and Greenlight Solar Investments Spain, SL. Fernando was also a Manager at Probiomass - Biomass Technologie from 2006 to 2015 and an Administrator at Stellep - Produção de Pellts from 2011 to 2013. Before their work in the renewable energy industry, they were the Director of Project and Construction at Costa Teixeira & Silva, Lda from 1998 to 2005.

Fernando Ferreira's education history begins in 1994 when they completed their Bacharelato in Engenharia Electrotécnica - Sistemas Eléctricos de Energia at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto. Fernando then pursued a Licenciatura in the same field from 2001 to 2003 at the same institution.

In 2003, Fernando Ferreira obtained a Pós-Graduação in Engenharia Electrotécnica e Computadores - Energia from the Instituto Superior Técnico. Fernando later went on to complete a Pós-Graduação em Energias Renováveis at the Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Porto from 2008 to 2009.

Fernando Ferreira furthered their education by attending the Porto Business School from 2013 to 2014, where they completed a Post-Graduate Programme in Business Administration.

Finally, in 2016, they enrolled at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto again, this time pursuing a Mestrado in Engenharia Electrotécnica - Sistemas Eléctricos de Energia, which they completed in 2017.
