Tom Schmidt

Tom Schmidt has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Tom currently serves as the CEO of Proem Group, where they oversee the asset management division. Prior to this, they held the position of President at Proem Asset Management from September 2020 to October 2021. Before joining Proem, Tom worked at J.P. Morgan for nearly 8 years, starting in August 2012. During their time at J.P. Morgan, they held the role of Managing Director and served as the Head of Global Research for the Corporate and Investment Bank. Prior to that, Tom worked at JPMorgan Chase for almost 25 years, starting in 1988. Tom held the position of Managing Director and was the Global Head of Equity Research until January 2013.

Tom Schmidt attended Hobart and William Smith Colleges, but it is unknown when they started or finished their studies there. Later, from 1988 to 1991, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance at New York University's Stern School of Business.
