ProEquip is a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that civilization can withstand and recover from severe biological crises, such as AI-enabled engineered pandemics.

ProEquip translates rigorous biothreat analysis into practical biodefense requirements, then delivers the capabilities to meet them, including operational guidance for how society should function during a crisis and highly effective protective equipment, centered on respiratory protection.

ProEquip is initially focused on critical infrastructure, where targeted interventions at high-leverage points can keep vital systems operational and deliver population-scale resilience in a rapid, capital-efficient way. Absent these interventions, emerging biological threats — particularly those enabled by advances in AI — risk overwhelming current defenses, collapsing critical infrastructure, and causing mass casualties.
