Maria Walley has extensive work experience in the marketing and content creation fields. Maria began their career in 2010 as an Account Executive at Plan B® [The Agency Alternative]™, where they managed day-to-day projects for clients and was a client-facing liaison. In 2011, they moved to The Kreller Business Information Group as a Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialist. In 2014, Maria co-founded and became the Marketing Director of Candidly [formerly Kandid.ly]. In 2015, they worked as a Relationships Editor and Editorial Writer (Freelance) at Verily Magazine. In 2018, they worked as a Contributing Writer at Grotto Network and as a Freelance Writer & Content Strategist at Walley LLC, where they strategized on branding and content for MonkManual.com, P&G Ventures, ethiXbase, Microsoft, and Home Made Simple. Most recently, in 2021, Maria became the Co-founder & Head of Content of Prof Jim Inc., a fully-funded edtech startup based in Silicon Valley.
Maria Walley attended Ursuline Academy from 2002 to 2006. Maria then went on to The University of Dallas, where they earned a B.A. in English and Art Maria'story between 2006 and 2010.
