Jorge Garofoli

Jorge Garofoli is an experienced professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering and project management. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor in Industrial Transportation and Assistant Professor in Mechanical Design at Universidad Nacional del Sur since 2007, Jorge is responsible for teaching and evaluating students. Simultaneously, Jorge has been with Profertil S.A. since 2008, holding roles that include Project Supervisor and Senior Project Engineer, where efforts focus on project development and improvements in industrial plants, along with proactive maintenance strategies. Prior experience includes serving as an Application Engineer at John Crane from 2006 to 2008, specializing in mechanical seals and flexible couplings. Jorge's educational accomplishments include a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute and a degree in Mechanical-Industrial Engineering from Universidad Nacional del Sur.
