Alex Rodriguez

Alex Rodriguez began their work experience as an M1A1 Tank Platoon Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from May 2018 to May 2020. They then served as a Commanding General's Aide, assisting with daily activities and coordinating events, from May 2020 to October 2020. They then transitioned to the role of Career Planner from October 2020 to November 2022.

After leaving the Marine Corps, Alex worked as a SOC II Analyst at DefendEdge from April 2022 to January 2023, where they monitored and responded to technical support requests and performed system vulnerability scans.

They then joined Leidos as an IT Specialist from January 2023 to March 2023, responsible for installing, configuring, repairing, and maintaining IT systems.

Currently, Alex is working as an Associate Threat Analyst at Proficio, starting in March 2023.

Alex Rodriguez's education history includes attending Central Texas College from 2021 to 2024, where they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Information Technology. Prior to that, they briefly attended Mayfield College in 2020, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Alex Rodriguez has obtained several certifications. Alex became a Splunk Core Certified User through Splunk in February 2023. In November 2022, they obtained the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council, as well as the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA. In May 2022, they completed the WithSecure Elements Endpoint Detection and Response Technical Training and the WithSecure Elements Endpoint Protection Technical Training. Alex also earned the Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 3: Certified Associate certification from Fortinet in July 2022.
