Derek Cam

Derek Cam has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Derek started their career at Kore Management in 2010, where they worked as a Leasing Consultant. During their time there, Derek successfully increased occupancy from around 70% to 97% and implemented an improved digital filing system. Derek also managed tenant-related issues, trained new agents, and handled advertising and reporting tasks.

In 2012, Derek joined Fremont Bank as a Fulfillment Specialist II. Derek was recognized for their outstanding customer service and exceeding expectations, particularly in areas such as handling VA loans, providing reference aids, and managing a higher number of files than expected during training.

Derek then moved on to Ernst & Young in 2016, starting as a Staff Assurance Associate and later becoming a Senior Assurance Associate. Derek worked with the company until 2019, gaining experience in the field of assurance.

Since 2019, Derek has been employed at Proficio as a Senior Accountant. Derek recently transitioned to the role of Accounting Manager in October 2021. No end dates are provided for their roles at Proficio, indicating they are currently employed there.

Derek Cam pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics from San Jose State University, which they completed between 2010 and 2012. Subsequently, they enrolled in San Jose State University again, this time to pursue a Master of Accountancy degree starting in 2015 and concluding in 2016.
