Nathan Locke

Nathan Locke is a Managing Partner, Co-Head of Growth Capital, and Co-Portfolio Manager for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisor’s growth private equity activities. He played a leading role in building a highly experienced and diverse team of professionals, with over 50% being females or minorities, and has invested in nearly 50 companies. He is also responsible for identifying investment themes, developing actionable new investment opportunities, deal execution and creating value within existing portfolio companies. Mr. Locke has advised on multiple boards and sold a number of companies to financial sponsors and larger strategic buyers. Prior to joining Kayne Anderson, he worked as a senior analyst on the finance team of Romney for President Inc. and as the controller for The Commonwealth Political Action Committees.

Mr. Locke graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Finance from the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business.
