Software Architect at Profisee

Brian Barnett has a comprehensive work experience spanning several decades in the software development field. Brian started their career as a Software Developer at Unisys in 1988. In 1990, they joined Magnus Software Corporation as a Senior Developer. Afterward, they worked at CORE-ECS as a Software Architect from 1998 to 2003. Brian then joined Magenic Technologies as a Sr. Software Architect from 2003 to 2005.

Brian's career progressed further as they became a Sr. Software Engineer at Stratature, a Microsoft company, from 2005 to 2007. Brian then transitioned to Microsoft as a Senior Software Development Engineer on the Master Data Services team from 2007 to 2011. During their time at Microsoft, Brian played a key role in the design and development of the company's MDS product.

In 2011, Brian joined Profisee as a Senior Software Development Engineer, where they worked until 2017. Brian was responsible for the development and architectural design of the Profisee Platform, a comprehensive software suite for Master Data Management and Data Governance. Following this role, Brian became a Software Architect at Profisee, serving on the Incubator team and exploring new and advanced technologies.

Throughout their career, Brian has showcased their expertise in software architecture, development, and design. Brian has consistently contributed to the growth and success of the companies they have worked for.

Brian Barnett completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business between the years 1985 and 1988. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree (MS) in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University, which they obtained from 1991 to 1995. In terms of additional certifications, Brian obtained the Collaborator - Azure Architecture Center certification from Microsoft in April 2023. Brian also achieved the MCSD: App Builder certification from Microsoft in January 2020.
