Johan Crouse

Advocate Johan Crouse is an acknowledged international authority in International Humanitarian Law and “Medicine and the Law.” Currently, they serve as the Head of an International Course for medical practitioners and hold various advisory roles, including advising the Secretary-General of the ICMM and membership on the Advisory Board of the International Humanitarian Law Council in Geneva. They also maintain private Advocate chambers in the Cape, South Africa, specializing in Criminal Law, Labour Law, and Medico-Legal matters. Johan's extensive experience includes serving as a Senior Judge in the South African National Defence Force and holding executive roles in corporate environments, including medical provision funds. They hold a B.Com, LLB, and a postgraduate Certificate in Medicine and Law from the University of the Free State.
