John Boone

John is the founder and President of ProFocus. After starting his career in technology he entered the staffing industry, co-founding Employment Trends which earned the #1 Best Small Company to Work for in Oregon and landed on Inc’s 500 Fastest Growing Companies.

With more than 24 years in the staffing industry and 28 years in technology, he combined these experiences by building an IT Staffing company with one goal to earn the reputation of being the best in the country by delivering on the promise to only carefully introduce the right candidates for the job.

John grew up in California and moved to Portland in 1993.

John enjoys getting involved in organizations and making a difference. He is the Director of Membership for the society for Information Management, he is on the Development and Engineering committee for the Technology Association of Oregon (TAO), and he is the Committee Chairman for the Rotary Books for Kids program. He was also recognized by TAO as the Volunteer of the Year.
