Érika Monteiro

Érika Monteiro is a project manager at Proforest, specializing in the production and responsible sourcing of agricultural commodities. They hold a bachelor's degree in Environmental Management from the University of São Paulo, where they graduated at the top of their class, and a master's degree in Environment and Resource Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, focusing on ecosystem services. Érika has gained extensive experience in socio-environmental project development during their internship at Vigna Brasil and as a consultant at Wolfs Company, where they developed tools for analyzing business risks related to ecosystem services. Additionally, they spent a year studying Environmental Science at UC Riverside in the United States, where they published their first article.
