John Amonoo has over 17 years of experience in natural resource management, with a focus on agroforestry, sustainable forest management, and capacity building. They have developed and facilitated programs for over a thousand beneficiaries, aiding community groups in adapting to climate change through various sustainable livelihood activities. Currently, John serves as the Senior Project Manager at Proforest and holds the position of National Vice-president of the Ghana Institute of Foresters. They have previously worked in various roles, including as a Community Forestry Advisor at Tropenbos International Ghana and an Executive Secretary at the Ghana Institute of Foresters, and have also contributed to academic settings as a Teaching and Research Assistant at KNUST. John holds a Master’s degree in Agroforestry from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
