Michael Senior

Michael Senior is the Director of Collaboration & Landscapes at Proforest, where they focus on conservation and land use strategies. Previously, they held roles as a Science Intern at the Global Canopy Programme and as a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford, contributing to butterfly conservation and tropical forest ecology research. Michael completed a PhD at the University of York, where their research on biodiversity and ecosystem functioning in fragmented tropical landscapes aimed to inform policy on agricultural land conservation. They hold a first-class degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford.
