Tony Hill

Tony Hill is currently the Director of the Smallholder Support Programme at Proforest, where they lead efforts to ensure responsible production and sourcing from smallholders across Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Previously, they directed the SHARP Programme at Proforest, contributing to partnership development and networking for mutual learning. With extensive experience in forestry and natural resource management, Tony served as an advisor and officer in both the UK Dept for International Development and the UK Overseas Development Administration earlier in their career. They hold a Master of Science in Forest Management and a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Aberdeen University, along with specialized training in Forestry, People & Participation from the Centre for International Development & Training.
