Kapil Dev has a diverse work experience spanning over several years and industries. Kapil is currently working as the Head of Operations and Controls at Progcap since February 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Operations - Retail Assets & Corporate Lending at RattanIndia Finance Private Limited from September 2018 to January 2022.

Before joining RattanIndia Finance, Kapil worked at ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services Limited where they held various roles including Vice President - Head of Operations and Controls from April 2017 to September 2018, Vice President from April 2015 to March 2017, and General Manager (Controls & Expense Processing) from July 2013 to March 2015.

Kapil'scareer also includes experience at Barclays Corporate Banking where they served as an Assistant Vice President - Internal Controls from July 2008 to July 2013. In this role, they were responsible for heading the Internal Control & BCM Unit and providing strategic feedback to higher management. Additionally, they served as the BCM Country Manager, ensuring efficient BCM setup for Barclays Finance.

Kapil started their career at the Comptroller & Auditor General of India as a Section Officer Commercial from May 2003 to June 2008. Kapil gained extensive knowledge of various business environments and processes, leading audit teams and conducting audits in various PSU's.

Prior to their role at the Comptroller & Auditor General, they worked as an Accounts Assistant at the Airports Authority of India from August 2001 to April 2003.

Kapil Dev attended Sainik School of Kunjpura, Karnal from 1989 to 1993. Kapil then studied Commerce at Andhra Education Society, ITO, New Delhi from 1993 to 1997. Later, from 2000 to 2005, they attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India to pursue a degree in Chartered Accountancy with a focus on Accounting and Finance.
