Roman Lickel

Roman Lickel has worked in the software industry since 2006. Roman began their career as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, and Project Manager at Bachmann Support GmbH. In 2009, they completed a Geomatik internship at the Surveying office Bern. In 2015, they joined Hinderling Volkart AG as a Developer (Front- & Backend). In 2016, they became a Co-Founder and Fullstack Software Developer at Prognolite GmbH. In 2018, they were a Founder at Klickagent and an IT Consultant at eduwo. In 2020, they became the Initiator & Creator at Countee, where they developed a tool to prevent queues at coronavirus times outside of shopping centers and pharmacies.

Roman Lickel completed a Bachelor in Computer Science at ZHAW from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended ETH Zürich for a Basisjahr in Geomatik from 2008 to 2009. Roman also obtained their Matura from Gymnasium Dübendorf in 2006. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including CTI Entrepreneurship Business Growth from ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences in 2017, ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level from ISTQB® in 2014, iSAQB® Certified Professional for Software Architecture, Foundation Level from iSQI GmbH in 2013, Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering from IREB GmbH in 2013, Business English Certificate Higher from University of Cambridge in 2013, and Certified Project Management Associate IPMA Level D from IPMA in 2014.
