Stephen Bartlett

Stephen Bartlett has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Stephen is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Programa, a startup based in Melbourne that aims to revolutionize the interior design, architecture, and furniture industry through an end-to-end SaaS-enabled marketplace. Prior to this, they worked as an Engineering Lead at Afterpay, where they led a team in building the Afterpay Express checkout. Stephen also worked as a Principal Consultant at DiUS Computing, focusing on building software products for the public cloud and encouraging customers to think in terms of products rather than projects. Stephen served as a Technical Lead at Australian Red Cross Lifeblood, conducting technical assessments and user research for donor safety and efficiency. Stephen was also a Technical Lead at Bupa, where they participated in an accelerator program to validate a new product opportunity. Additionally, they held roles as a Technical Lead at Iress and NAB, where they developed new digital channels and payment solutions. As a Consultant at irexchange, Stephen led a team in reshaping a supplier-wholesaler-retailer model in the FMCG sector. Stephen also worked as a Consultant at Powershop NZ Ltd and CarAdvice.com.
