George Athanasopoulos is an experienced software engineer and researcher, currently serving as a Team Leader and Senior Software Engineer at Intuition Robotics since August 2018. Simultaneously, George is involved with Programize LLC, contributing to the OnionID project and previously worked on the KYCH project aimed at hotel management solutions. Prior positions include Senior Software Engineer at Onion ID and a significant tenure as a researcher at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, focusing on Service Oriented Computing technologies. George also held the title of Director of Technology at SDI - Sentier De L'Innovation SAS and contributed to various EU-funded research projects including ESPAS and SUCRE.
