Adam McKenzie has a diverse range of work experience in audio engineering, music production, AV support, and technology management. Adam has worked as a Freelance Audio Engineer and Music Producer, providing support in live and studio environments. Adam has also held roles such as AV Technician, Video Conferencing Support, and AV Coordinator at KPMG Australia. Adam has experience in team leadership, overseeing technical support teams and coordinating project installations. Adam has also worked as a Sales Manager and Store Manager at Telstra. Currently, Adam is working as an ANZ AV Service & Project Delivery Manager / Release Lead at Programmed.
Adam McKenzie attended SAE Institute Australia from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Audio Engineering degree with a specialization in Audio. In addition to their formal education, they acquired various certifications in the field of audio engineering. These certifications include Cisco Introduction to Cyber Security from Cisco Networking Academy in March 2023, Networking for Shure DSP and Audio Interfaces from Shure Incorporated in September 2021, Crestron Flex for Microsoft Teams Room Solutions from Crestron Electronics in November 2020, and Audio Essentials from HARMAN International in October 2020. Adam also obtained certifications such as Extron Certified AV Associate from Extron, Audinate Dante Certification Level 2 and Dante Certification Level 1 from Audinate, Splunk 7.x Fundamentals Part 1 from Splunk, CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry from Pinnacle Safety and Training, Audio Basics for IT Professionals and Networking Basics for Audio Professionals from Shure Incorporated. Lastly, they completed the MXA910 Ceiling Array Technical Enablement course from Shure Incorporated in July 2022.
