Peter N. Ruben

Peter N. Ruben is an accomplished media and telecommunications executive with extensive experience in sales, marketing, and distribution. Currently serving as an Executive in Residence at Progress Partners since May 2021 and a Consultant/Advisor at BMP Resources since December 2019, Peter provides strategic advice to various clients including media companies and start-up ventures. Previously, Peter held significant roles such as Head of Distribution Relations at ION Media Networks and Executive Vice President of Affiliate Sales at HSN, where responsibilities included growth of distribution channels and leadership of sales teams. Peter's earlier positions at USA Networks Inc and Paragon Cable further solidified expertise in national account management and customer growth. Academic credentials include an MBA from UCLA Anderson, an MS in Business Analytics from Syracuse University, a BA in Economics from Rutgers University, and completion of the Cable Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School.
