Scott Messer

Scott Messer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital publishing and media strategy. As the Principal and Founder of Messer Media since October 2022, Scott specializes in consulting publishers on monetization, audience and identity strategies, data privacy operations, and programmatic audits. In addition to this role, Scott serves as the Fractional Head of Identity & Partnerships at The Arena Group, Board Advisor at TrueData, and Advisor at both Ad-Shield and lockr, providing strategic guidance on advanced identity solutions. Previously, Scott held various senior positions at Leaf Group, overseeing key operations, revenue, and general strategies within the media sector. Additional experience includes advisory roles at Blockthrough and Criterion Capital Partners, with a strong focus on business development and revenue generation across various digital platforms. Scott obtained an MBA in Entrepreneurship from USC Marshall School of Business and a BA in English from Emory University.
