Mark Welsh

Mark Welsh serves as the Regional Director of Corporate Security at Progress Residential® since February 2017, overseeing the security of over 100,000 residential properties across the United States. With extensive experience in various roles, Welsh has worked as a Strategy and Business Consultant, focusing on collision reconstruction and fraud prevention at JP Morgan Chase Bank. Previous leadership roles include General Manager in the remodeling and roofing sectors and Director of Operations at Columbia Environment, Inc., managing complex projects. Welsh's earlier career included significant law enforcement experience as a Deputy Sheriff with Thurston County and a State Trooper/Detective with the Washington State Patrol. Welsh is also a veteran of the US Army, recognized for valor during the Gulf War, and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix.
