Brody Messmer

Brody Messmer has extensive experience in the software engineering field. Brody started their career in 1998 as a Software Engineer at COIN Educational Products and then worked as a Lead Software Engineer at People Designs in 2003. In 2003, they also joined DataDirect Technologies as a Software Engineer. In 2005, Brody became an Independent Contractor, working as a Software Engineer until 2013.

Since 2006, they have been associated with Progress, where they have held various roles. Brody started as a Custom Development Team Lead and then became a Development Manager and Project Manager for the rewrite of the Microsoft SQL Server ODBC driver. Brody also served as a QA Manager, Program Manager, and Product Owner during their tenure. In 2016, they were promoted to Chief Product Owner & Engineering Manager, and in 2017, they became the Director of Engineering. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Engineering at Progress.

Brody Messmer obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology between 1997 and 2002. In 2018, they also obtained a certification in SAFe 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc.
