Chad Thomson

Chad Thomson is a Senior Principal Solutions Consultant and Tech Lead at Progress since October 2014, where responsibilities include leading and mentoring teams on enterprise-level projects, emphasizing high-performance and secure deliverables. With expert-level experience in Progress OpenEdge, ABL, and a range of web technologies, Chad has implemented global-scale, full-stack applications and developed complex security protocols using Spring Framework technologies. Previously, Chad held senior roles at Bravepoint, Inc. and TKI Consulting, focusing on custom application development and integration within the manufacturing industry, and has a strong background in source configuration management and database design. Educationally, Chad has contributed to the academic field as a Professor in IT at Canadore College, teaching various technology subjects.
