Cheryl Labarge

Cheryl LaBarge has a strong background in training and instructional design. From 1996 to 1999, they were a Training Manager at Progress Software, where they managed staff and contract trainers and served as a subject matter expert for course developers. From 1999 to 2001, Cheryl worked as a Technical Trainer at Extraprise, delivering new hire training to consulting staff. Since 2002, they have held various roles at Progress, including Senior Training Program Manager and Information Developer, Principal. In these positions, they have designed and delivered online technical training, created user assistance videos, and developed content to help employees and customers effectively use Progress products. Cheryl has also been involved in Agile and Scrum methodologies and has experience with SAFe certification. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in training program management and instructional design.

Cheryl LaBarge has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Cognitive Science from Wellesley College. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the TechSmith Camtasia 2021 Voyager certification from TechSmith in October 2022, the TechSmith Camtasia 2021 Explorer certification from TechSmith in September 2022, the Certified SAFe® 5 Scrum Master certification from the Scaled Agile Professional Certification Program in August 2021, and the SAFe® 4 Agilist certification in December 2017.
