John Owusu Duah

John Owusu Duah is a Senior Data Engineer at Progress Software, specializing in building clean ETL pipelines and deploying machine learning models. They have previously worked as a Senior Data Engineer Co-op at Kimberly-Clark, automating data migration and implementing a classification model that replaced a costly data brokerage contract. With a strong foundation in data engineering, John has also contributed to the Ministry of Roads and Highways by designing a data warehouse that significantly reduced maintenance costs. Educated at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and Duke University, they hold a Master’s in Interdisciplinary Data Science and are certified in Snowflake and AWS machine learning.
