Lance McCarthy

Lance McCarthy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical support and counseling. Currently, as a Senior Manager of Technical Support at Progress, Lance leads a team focused on providing exceptional support for Progress DevTools and Sitefinity across the Americas. Previously, roles included Technical Advisor at Text100, where technical content for Microsoft's Windows Developer team was developed, and Developer Ambassador at Microsoft, facilitating developer outreach and support post-Nokia acquisition. Additional experience encompasses academic involvement as an Assistant Professor at Harvard University and various counseling roles within the criminal justice system. Education includes training in psychology and psychopharmacology from UMass Boston. Lance also served as President and board member for GRACE HOUSE INSTITUTE INC, integrating knowledge of criminal justice with modern communication methods.
