Plamena Petrova

Plamena Petrova has a strong background in data analysis and business intelligence. Plamena is currently working at Progress as a Senior BI Analyst, and they will soon transition into the role of Principal BI Analyst. Prior to their current position, they worked at IQVIA as a Statistician and R programmer. Plamena also has experience as a Business Data Analyst at Amplify Analytix, where they managed projects, conducted data analysis, and collaborated with data scientists. Plamena started their career as a Credit Risk Analyst at Macquarie Group and also worked there as a Summer Intern. Plamena has additional internship experience at Raiffeisen Bank - Bulgaria and Royal Bank of Scotland. Plamena served as the Secretary for Durham University Economics Society and held the position of Vice President at People to People International, where they gained valuable leadership skills and conducted promotional activities.

Plamena Petrova received their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics and Economics from Durham University between 2012 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma from the High School of Mathematics in 2012. Plamena Petrova also holds additional certifications including being a Tableau Certified Data Analyst from Tableau, obtained in December 2023, and passing CFA Level I from the CFA Institute.
