Prashanth Nanjundappa

Prashanth Nanjundappa has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Prashanth is currently the VP of Product Management - Head of Products for chef.io business line at Progress since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Product Management & Engineering and Head of Products for Chef.io at Progress from February 2020 to December 2021.

Before their time at Progress, Prashanth worked at athenahealth as the Director of Product Management from November 2017 to February 2020. Prashanth'sresponsibilities involved providing healthcare consumer engagement and marketing services, as well as building a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) for the US healthcare industry.

Prashanth also held the position of Director of Product Management at Knowlarity from June 2015 to November 2017. At Knowlarity, they were involved in providing cloud-based communication solutions to businesses in Southeast Asia and Middle Eastern markets.

Prior to Knowlarity, Prashanth worked at Cisco in the Chief Technology and Architecture Office. Prashanth served as a Technical Leader and Product Innovation Expert from April 2013 to February 2015. Prashanth'srole included planning innovative technology directions, building innovative products and platforms in IoT, and collaborating with sales, marketing, and development teams.

Before Cisco, Prashanth worked at NDS Service Pay TV Technology as an Architect and Senior Technical Leader from August 2008 to April 2013. Prashanth played various roles in this organization, leading projects related to application suite development, middleware architecture, and building application frameworks.

Prashanth began their career at LG Soft India as a System Analyst from January 2003 to August 2008. Prashanth developed middle-ware and stock applications for LG Portable Media Player SOC, optimized and updated DRM applications, and streamlined the development and release process.

Prashanth'searlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at DACS, where they focused on product development in the areas of advanced computing software, embedded systems, and digital signal processing.

Prashanth Nanjundappa obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics & Communication from Bangalore University in 2001. In 2016-2017, they pursued an Executive MBA - PGPMAX in Business Administration and Management from the Indian School of Business. In addition, they obtained certifications in Strategic Value addition through Financial Analysis from Kellogg Executive Education and in Competitive Marketing Strategy & Corporate Development from Wharton Executive Education in 2017.
