Samik Chakraborty

Samik Chakraborty has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Samik started their career at Dell as a Technical Support Analyst, where they provided troubleshooting and resolution for various technical issues. Samik then moved on to Verizon as a System Analyst, where they provided end-to-end support for complex environments and managed VMware infrastructure. After that, they worked at IBM as a Service Delivery Specialist, where they provided support to enterprise accounts and managed large, complex server environments. Currently, Samik is working at Progress as a Principal Engineer, where they are responsible for managing product lines and providing end-to-end product management and support. Throughout their career, Samik has gained expertise in areas such as debugging, issue analysis, bug reporting, security updates, and patch management.

Samik Chakraborty completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Telecommunications from Dr. D.Y. Patil Pratishthan's Padmashree Dr. D.Y.Patil Institute Of Engineering and Technology from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, they pursued their ISC degree at MHMS in the field of Science from 2002 to 2004. In terms of certifications, they have obtained several, including "Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions" and "Az 303" from Microsoft in 2021, "Network Basics" from BSNL in 2016, and "ITIL V3 Foundation" from APMG-International in 2013. Additionally, they have attained an MCSA certification from Microsoft.
