Shiyun Shao

Shiyun (Louise) Shao is an experienced accountant currently serving as Accountant II at Progress since January 2022. Previously, Shiyun worked as an Accountant at Kemp from February 2018 to December 2021 and completed a Tax Internship at EisnerAmper LLP in early 2017, where responsibilities included preparing various tax returns and managing client audits. In addition to accounting roles, Shiyun held the position of VP Communications for the Fordham Accounting and Tax Society, coordinating communications for a large membership base. Early career experiences include internships at East West Bank, focusing on commercial credit reviews and economic analysis, and Money Economics, where Shiyun authored economic articles. Shiyun holds a Master's degree in Professional Accounting from Fordham Gabelli School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley.
