Sinéad Madigan

Sinéad Madigan has extensive work experience in the field of technical writing. Sinéad started their career in 2012 as a Software Technical Writer at American Power Conversion. Sinéad then joined IBM as an Information Developer in July 2012, but their tenure at IBM was short-lived as they left the company in September 2012. Sinéad then worked at Hewlett-Packard as a Technical Writer from March 2013 to January 2014. Sinéad moved on to IBM again in January 2014, this time as an Information Developer, and stayed with the company until September 2016. Sinéad joined Ipswitch, Inc. in September 2016 as a Senior Technical Writer and worked there until May 2019. Currently, Sinéad holds the position of Principal Information Developer at Progress since February 2021.

Sinéad Madigan obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Technical Writing from the University of Limerick in 2011-2012. Sinéad also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Archaeology and Sociology from University College Dublin. Additionally, they have several certifications including being a Registered Scrum Master™ from Agile Education by Scrum Inc.™ (obtained in December 2020), a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Inc. (obtained in December 2020), and a Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. (obtained in August 2019).
