Spas Georgiev

Spas Georgiev is a Principal Network Engineer at Progress, where they focus on evolving networking technologies, including NetOps, automation, SD-WAN, and virtualization. They previously held positions as a Network Architect at Publicis Groupe and a Site Reliability Engineer specializing in Data Center networking at VMware. Spas has also worked at the World Bank Group as a Level 2 Network Operations Center Engineer and has gained diverse experience at IBM and in educational roles. They hold multiple certifications, including F5 Networks Certified Administrator and various Cisco and Juniper credentials, alongside a Bachelor’s degree and multiple advanced degrees in Telecommunications and Business Administration from the Technical University of Sofia and Burgas Free University.
