Tom Stevens

Tom Stevens has a strong background in finance and corporate finance. Tom started their career as a Staff Accountant at IBM, where they focused on journal entries and account reconciliations. Tom later transferred to IBM Business Consulting Services, where they provided project reporting and cost analysis support. Tom then joined Authoria as a Financial Analyst, where they quickly grew into a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis role, leading all FP&A activities and developing key performance indicators. Tom later served as a Finance Manager at Picis, where they developed forecast processes and acted as a finance business partner. Tom then became a Director of Finance at Optum, where they served as a P&L owner and finance partner for three business units. Currently, they are the VP of Corporate Finance at Progress, leading the Corporate FP&A function.

Tom Stevens earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Bryant University, during the period from 1997 to 2021. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Finance from Fairfield University from 2002 to 2004.
