Kiya Hushyar

Kiya Hushyar began their work experience in 1993 as an Audit at KPMG Audit and worked there until 1998. From 1998 to 2000, they worked as a Manager Captive Insurance at Marsh. Kiya then became a Senior Manager at Peter Reimer & Associates from 2003 to 2005. After that, they joined Deloitte as a Senior Manager and worked there until 2011. In 2012, they held two roles: as an Executive Risk Management Consultant at Great Canadian Casinos from January to June, and as VP Operational Finance at Asian Coast Development Ltd from June to December. From 2015 to 2017, Kiya worked as a Senior Management Consultant at Coast Capital Savings. Currently, they are the Chief Financial Officer at Progressa, a leading Fintech company based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Kiya Hushyar attended Simon Fraser University from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting. In 1996, they obtained the certification of Chartered Accountant, but the institution from which they received this certification is not specified.
