Michael Perry, AIA, DIAD, is a nationally recognized expert in Universal Design, dedicated to creating inclusive, accessible, and safer environments. With extensive experience at Progressive AE from 2004 to 2020, they held roles including Executive Vice President and Principal, where they led Universal Design consulting and strategic initiatives. Currently, they oversee firm-wide risk management and continue to educate others on inclusive design strategies through speaking engagements and writing. Michael is also pursuing a Master's degree in Architecture at the University of Michigan and holds a Certificate in Disability Inclusion and Accessible Design.
